Proposed complete kit contents

Proposed contents only. The final supplied items and quantities will be confirmed before ordering opens.

  • 1 × Correctly sized reusable AC wash cover
Selected by actual indoor-unit width, depth and required mounting clearance; water-collection construction with drain outlet; selected fit and seam performance pending
Collect technician-generated runoff below and around the compatible unit
  • 1 × Matched cover mounting/support set
All brackets, clips, cords or elastic fittings required by the selected cover design; exact component count pending
Support the cover without relying on a missing accessory
  • 1 × Upper splash shield
Integrated upper section of a suitable full cover, or a separate compatible upper shield; confirm actual upper-wall and ceiling coverage
Limit splash above the unit; a bottom-only open bag does not perform this role
  • 1 × Compatible drain hose with outlet fittings and retaining clip
Target about 2.5-3 m; bore and adapter must match the cover outlet; exact supplied length and connection pending
Direct collected wastewater into a stable receiving bucket
  • 1 × Waterproof work mat
Target about 1.8 x 2 m; impermeable backing; choose verified slip-resistant working surface and edge containment for the actual job
Protect the floor below the work area and catch incidental drips
  • 1 × Wall-protection sheet
Target about 1.35 x 2.5 m; extend behind and below the unit; material suitable for temporary splash protection
Protect wall finishes along the runoff/splash route
  • 1 × Pre-taped PE masking-film roll
Target 550 mm x 25 m for local shields; verify selected film and adhesive
Add local upper/side shielding as required by the cover geometry
  • 1 × Wide furniture-protection sheet
Sized to cover the nearby furniture and belongings; smooth water-resistant plastic barrier, not an absorbent dustsheet alone
Protect surrounding belongings from splashes and dust
  • 1 × Low-tack protective tape roll
    Target 48-50 mm x 25 m; surface-appropriate removable protective/masking grade
Temporarily secure protective material after a discreet surface test
  • 1 × Approved plastic-film seam tape roll
Moisture-resistant tape compatible with the chosen film; supplier-approved film-to-film overlaps; exact grade pending
Join protective film overlaps where required; do not apply strong sealing tape to delicate painted surfaces
  • 2 × Stable handled collection/preparation buckets
Target 10 L each; clearly labelled Clean Water and Wastewater; stackable only if safely stable in use
Keep clean water separate from collected wastewater and allow monitored collection
  • 1 × Flat bristle brush
Verify non-metal bristle material and permitted use; do not assume safe on fins or coatings
Remove loose dirt from manufacturer-approved accessible/removable surfaces
  • 1 × Soft non-metal detail brush
Non-metal bristles; selected brush shape and softness to confirm before launch
    Brush manufacturer-approved accessible narrow details
  • 4 × Colour-coded microfibre cloths
Suggested split: 2 cleaning cloths and 2 dry finishing cloths; verify care instructions
Keep dirty wiping separate from final drying
  • 2 × Absorbent finishing pads
Suitable for clean-water incidental drips; compatible with any cleaner residue actually used
Handle small drips during removal and final floor checks
  • 1 pair × Reusable cleaning gloves
Choose material and thickness compatible with the selected cleaner SDS; one pair means two gloves
Protect hands during the permitted cleaning and handling tasks
  • 1 × Liquid-splash goggles
Indirect-vented splash-protection model; verify standard and fit for actual use; ordinary open safety spectacles are not the same protection
    Protect eyes from cleaning splashes
  • 1 × Splash apron
Reusable liquid-resistant material compatible with the job
Reduce wetting of clothing during handling and cleanup
  • 2 × Waste bags
Correct size for used disposable masking materials; not a wastewater container
    Collect dry/appropriately handled used consumables
  • 1 × Washable storage bag
Sized after assembled-kit packing verification; store only clean dry reusable items
Keep the coordinated tools together between jobs
  • 1 × Illustrated fit, containment and finish checklist
    Cover-fit diagram; masking-tape role; hose/bucket setup; dry-off and tool-care checks; technician-only internal-work boundary
Help the buyer understand the full task and items needed separately

Useful add-ons for specific situations

  • Plastic panel tools — For qualified technicians where the appliance manufacturer's disassembly procedure specifies them
  • Specialist wire brush — Only for a verified compatible non-delicate surface; keep away from aluminium fins, coils, washable mesh, plastic coatings and electronics
  • Longer matched drain hose — For a longer measured route to a suitable receiving location; confirm outlet fit and keep the route unobstructed
  • Spare masking-film and protective-tape rolls — Refills for repeated jobs; quantity consumed depends on room layout and masking area
  • Extra drying cloths and absorbent pads — Additional finishing consumables for larger or wetter jobs
  • Stable access platform — Choose for the actual working height and load; not included in the proposed standard retail pack
  • Model-specific electrical-component protective sheet — Technician-selected supplement where the service procedure requires it; does not make water exposure to electrical components safe

Have ready at home

  • Model-approved cleaner, if the manufacturer permits one; follow its label and SDS
  • Clean water at the appliance-manufacturer-approved temperature
  • Professional cleaning equipment and model-specific service tools selected by a qualified technician
  • Any model-specific electrical-component protection required by the manufacturer’s service procedure, selected and provided by the qualified technician
  • Safe electrical isolation and a stable access platform appropriate to the installation
  • Vacuum with suitable soft attachment if permitted and useful for loose-dust removal
  • A suitable permitted wastewater disposal location and any cleaner-specific disposal arrangements

From preparation to dry storage

  1. Prepare: Check the model instructions and job scope. The qualified technician isolates power and selects the permitted cleaning method. Move nearby belongings and measure cover fit and drainage route.
  2. Protect: Place the waterproof work mat, protect furniture and the wall, and provide actual upper-wall/ceiling splash protection. Test the removable tape on a discreet clean dry area before securing masking materials. The technician protects or removes electrical components as the manufacturer’s service procedure requires before wet work.
  3. Contain: Fit the cover with its matched supports. Connect and secure the drain hose into the labelled Wastewater bucket. Confirm the cover, overlaps, drain route and bucket setup before the permitted wet work starts.
  4. Clean: Use the suitable brushes and cloths for approved surfaces. Internal washing remains a qualified technician task using the manufacturer's procedure and selected professional equipment.
  5. Collect: Keep clean and dirty water separate. Monitor bucket level and drainage throughout; stop if the containment arrangement leaks or runoff does not drain.
  6. Finish: Follow the model-specific drying and reassembly instructions. Remove the masking inward, handle drips, wipe the surrounding surfaces and leave the floor dry.
  7. Store: Clean and fully dry the reusable cover, hose, brushes, goggles and cloths according to their care instructions. Dispose of wastewater and consumables as applicable and store the clean dry kit together.

Check the fit and material

  • This is a proposed complete-workflow BOM, not verified ready stock or a confirmed supplier-prepacked set. Contents, selected variants, quantities, dimensions and assembled packing must be confirmed before orders open.
  • Internal heat-exchanger, fan and electrical-component work is for a qualified technician under the appliance manufacturer's procedure; this kit is not an instruction for a novice to open or pressure-wash the installed unit.
  • The kit does not include cleaner, pump, powered washer or other professional cleaning equipment.
  • A bottom/open-front wash cover does not automatically provide upper-wall or ceiling protection. Confirm the real upper shield or include separate masking.
  • Low-tack protective tape secures masking material. It is not a guaranteed watertight seam or electrical-insulation system; low tack does not guarantee no paint damage.
  • Some maintenance protection sheets are only splash/dirt resistant and are explicitly unsuitable as washing covers. Verify the chosen product's actual intended use.
  • Fit depends on actual model dimensions, cover geometry and mounting clearance, not horsepower alone. Window-type, cassette and other formats require different containment systems.
  • Not all filters are washable. Check the specific appliance manual; do not spray the installed electrical parts or assume brushes are suitable for delicate fins.
  • No universal fit, zero-leak guarantee, stain-removal result, disinfection claim, residue-free guarantee or verified cleaning-performance promise is made.
  • Do not use the original styled photo as proof that the newly proposed protection items are supplied. New contents require verified packing and accurate product imagery.

Keep tools assigned to their task, wash them only as their care instructions allow, and dry reusable items before storage. Refill parts must match the supplied tool model, size and connector.
