The service does not include purchasing, delivery, hoisting, dismantling old furniture, bespoke measuring, plumbing, electrical, bathroom or stone work. Unlisted complex systems and specialist tasks require separate assessment.
ASSEMBLY AT HOME
Bookcases, desks and office chairs each have different assembly requirements. The model, fittings and available space help determine the right arrangement.
HOW IT WORKS
List the items, quantities, models, dimensions and links, along with your district, lift access and furniture position. Photos can be shared when you get in touch.
After checking the details, confirm the scope, total price, extra tasks and date in writing. Standard furniture assembly requires no deposit.
We check the condition, parts and workspace before starting. Missing parts, damage or extra work are discussed with any cost implications before proceeding.
Review stability, hinges, drawers and moving parts as applicable to the furniture. Check the agreed tasks, then pay the confirmed price.
BEFORE THE VISIT
Have the furniture delivered, with all parts, fittings and instructions ready.
Clear enough assembly space and check the lift, access route and furniture position.
Have someone authorised to agree the work and inspect it present.
For drilling, confirm landlord or building-management permission and provide details of the wall and fixing location.
COMPLETION & FOLLOW-UP
The completion check is part of the service. We review the relevant details with you and explain anything unfinished or still requiring attention.
No deposit is needed for standard furniture assembly. Check the completed work with us, then pay the agreed price. Any extra work and costs are discussed first.
If something feels loose, does not open smoothly or needs attention, share photos and a description. We will check the cause and explain the proposed solution and any costs before agreeing the next step.
Anti-tip fixing is priced separately after checking the wall, location and suitable fittings. Manufacturer requirements still apply if the option is not selected. If safe fixing is not possible, we discuss the limitations and next steps first.
We pause affected work, record the issue and discuss replacement parts, another visit or other options. If an issue appears after the visit, send photos so we can check the cause and agree a solution and any costs.
